I with my Parent's went to western Part of India which is state Gujarat
during Xmas in the month of 24th December to 31st December 2014. As
Gujarat is a big state in Bharat so it is difficult to cover all the
regions / cities at one time . So we all took a holiday of 7 days to
cover few parts of Gujarat in India . We planned to go Ahmadabad ,
Dwarka , Somnath , Diu , Gir and Ahmadabad from New Delhi . We boarded
the train on 24th December 2014 train name was ADI SJ Rajdhani Express
initially its departure time is 19.55 ( PM) from New Delhi railway
Junction . Well there are other trains too but i find Rajdhani train
more comfortable . We arrived Ahmadabad on next morning i.e 25th
December 2014 it was Christmas at that time arround 10.00 (AM) . We have
already booked a Tata Sumo Car that was waiting in Ahmadabad Railway
Station that took us to the Hotel Sarovar Portico . It was a decent
hotel . So after getting freshen we went around 1 PM we went to
Sabarmati Ashram . It is located Ahmadabad adjoining the Ashram road on
the banks of River Sabarmati . It was one of the residences of our
Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi who live their with his wife Kasturba
Gandhi for twelve years . It is a museum which has all the old
scriptures , letters , Pictures of Mahatma Gandhi .
